Reasons for the MASC Position:
This is a PROPOSED stance. Not yet approved. This bill would allow individuals to sign up online to testify at general assembly committee hearings which would make the government more accessible to youth. As it stands now, one must arrive a good amount of time before a hearing in order to speak, making it difficult for students (missing school). Also, putting hearings online will allow all citizens to become familiar with the perspectives of others regarding bills.
