Why? This is a PROPOSED stance. Not yet approved Simply put, this bill would establish a fund (drawing from various sources of revenue) that would be put to work bolstering the afterschool and summer programs that keep Maryland's students engaged, learning, having fun, and out of trouble. It would help support the extra curricular programs and activities that MASC has in the past declared so valuable to the youth of this state.
